Privacy

This page summarises in English how we handle personal data. Our German privacy notice is the full and authoritative version, and it is the one that governs.

Who is responsible

Arbitrium — Bennett-Schaar und Ilsinger, a partnership under German civil law. The partners are established in Germany and in Austria, so the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies to this processing. The addresses are in our legal notice, and you can reach us at kontakt@arbitrium.legal.

If you only look at this site

Our host records the usual server data needed to deliver the pages. We set no analytics and no advertising cookies. The one thing we store in your browser is whether you have dismissed the cookie notice.

What we do not do

No tracking, no profiling, no advertising networks, and no selling of data. We do not use your case to train any model.

If you take part in a procedure

Your case is stored encrypted, and the key stays with the parties rather than on our server. The claimant’s name, where the insurer records one, stays in the insurer’s own browser and never reaches us. Bank details are passed to the insurer separately and do not appear in the settlement.

The full list of the processors working on our behalf, the retention periods and the legal bases are set out in the German notice.

Your rights

You have the rights to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Write to us at kontakt@arbitrium.legal and we will deal with it. The detail is in the German notice.
